Bukit Mertajam Yam Rice

Few years ago the well known Bukit Mertajam Yam Rice stall beneath the old IBM lastly shifted to a new location. I felt the move was genuinely important, as the original coffee shop was just too small to accommodate the many customer that had to sit in the five foot way. Plus, it was a pretty dark too. The yam rice stall now had shift to Jalan Murthy. The new location for this amazing Yam Rice is now sharing exactly the same block with Eastern Printers Sdn Bhd, subsequent for the massive lorry shop.

Well, thankfully after the move I can still say the Yam Rice’s is still high quality and pricing nonetheless remained exactly the same. Every single bowl of Yam Rice still comes with generous chunks of soft, fragrant yam, whilst the salted vegetable pork soup is still as appetizing as it had been. The chili and dark soy sauce combo remained excellent too too.

It’d be terrific should you be game enough to eat the ‘spare parts’. Actually I'm not a massive fan of pork ‘spare parts’ myself, specifically the liver and heart parts. But some extra acceptable parts like pork maw and intestines (they’re clean don’t worry) are just truly fantastic.

A meal for two like this expense just a little far more than RM16 inclusive of drinks, quite reasonable contemplating the huge portion we had.
